Question Low fps in cod mw2

im playing with 25-30 fps in mw i just want to ask if i can get higher fps with the specs that i have

Gtx 1050
i5-6400 2.70 ghz
16gb ram

Go to C:\Documents\Call of Duty\players and open options.3.cod22.cst with notepad, find RenderWorkCount and set it to your CPU core count or (example, 6 cores, then set the value to 5 or 6), then on the game with all the lowest graphic settings, turn off texture streaming + enable spot cache on high/ultra. this works on me, specs are on my signature.

then you would need to upgrade your hardware.

The older processor is probably the reason. Cod games also aren't optimized well so it's a crap shoot even with recommended or higher hardware.
