Hi guys

So my pc specs was
i7 8700
b360 Chipset
2x16 (32gb) 2666mhz
Asus Gtx 1070ti Strix
650w bitfenix whisper psu
MSI MAG241CP 144HZ Monitor

now i'm upgrading my gpu to MSI RTX 3070 GAMING X TRIO, the problem is i don't feel any significant upgrade on the framerate after i upgrading my gpu, in far cry 5 i only get 60fps on 1080p and in r6 siege i don't feel improvement from my latest gpu, the driver version is 457.30
but for rendering on blender i feel some significant improvement but not for gaming

is the cpu bottlenecking?

*sorry for bad english

At 1080P, you are being bottle-necked by your CPU, majorly. The i7-8600 was released in 2017 and by all purposes is outdated. Trust me, I have an EVGA RTX 3080 FTW Ultra with an i7 3960X, which is even older, and dealt with the same thing.

Have you tried overclocking your CPU (if not already)? I saw a big difference when I overclocked my CPU versus running stock speeds in my FPS / performance.
