Question Low FPS issues in "7 Days To Die" ?

I have a bit of an issue. I have an ASUS TUF F16 Dash with a 3070 laptop. it has 16gb of RAM. It plays graphics hungry games flawlessly(Ark, Halo, Battlefield 5, Warzone, etc). But for some reason in the last month or so, I have been struggling to get over 20FPS in 7 days to die. It only seems to happen in this particular game. Both solo and online. I've tried all graphics settings and even on low i'm lucky to get above 30. In games like ark on EPIC graphics mode i get bare minimum 50FPS. Does anyone have any ideas?

I've also updated my graphics driver and all PC files

Check your Direct X, run dxdiag in your search box and see if your report finds anything.
