Low Fps Minecraft Gtx 1070 I7-7700hq

Hello, I am having very low performance in Minecraft, using any render distance over 12. It lowers my gpu usage and cpu usage tremendously in turn lowering my fps to about 15-25. I feel like this shouldn't be happening with my specs on just vanilla Minecraft.

Have you made sure:
a| your motherboard BIOS is up to date?
b| You're on the latest GPU drivers? Uninstall it and reinstall it using the latest found on Nvidia's support site.
c| Run a repair install, if you'r on Windows 10 and see if your issue is averted.

I just updated my bios about an hour ago and still the same results

I have recently uninstalled and reinstalled the newest Nvidia drivers

and within the last month i have run a repair install of windows 10

True but the results are the same using regular Minecraft aswell
