Hey everyone. So I've noticed through GPU Z that my RX 6700 XT is running at pcie 3.0 x8 instead of x16 and I don't know how long it's been like this, I just found out about it 1 hour ago. I've had this card for about 2 years and everything is running fine but I wanna know if I'm missing any performance. I have a ryzen 5 5600, msi b450 tomahawk, 32gb ddr4 3600mhz ram, a WD SN770 2TB NVMe M.2 intalled in the only M.2 slot the motherboard has. For other storage I have a crucial mx500 1tb sata ssd and a wd 2tb 5400rpm hdd. I don't know if the m.2 is "stealing" pcie lanes from the gpu or something like that. I had to change the sata connections to my sata ssd because, when I installed the m.2, 2 sata slots on the motherboard became unavailable. I also have an optical disc drive connected to a sata connection on the mobo as well. The M.2 drive has been the latest addition in this machine, have it for about 1 month and a half. Also I have a wifi card connected to the lowest pcie slot on the mobo, don't know if that matters. I've got the GPU connected to the top slot, of course. Does anyone know what I can try to make the gpu work at pcie x16 speeds? Psu is evga supernova g2 850w. Thanks in advance everyone!
