So i build.a.new.pc which is i7 6700k and gtx 1050 ti with 16 gb crucial 2666, mobo z170 pro gaming, ssd m.2 256 wwindows 10 home , i put.the ram and tried pubg., fps is very low.even.on very.low graphics , i get 30 50 fps with stutters and fps drops all.times , i told.my.friend.to.bring.me.his 16 gb of ram hyper x 2444 , i tried this ram and it works without.any.stutters or.fps drops, please i.need.help., should i clock.the.speed or.something.like.this.? You.could save me from.buying.a new.ram thank.you

its not like there isn't difference, you sit at a higher clock (not substantially) but he sits at a very low latency rate compared to yours. The difference isn't supposed to be really great, he would be sitting at a better performance than you but not the way you are experiencing it now.

You are currently using a 1x16 2666 MHz CL19 RAM.

Since you mentioned T-Force RAM's, I guess this is as good : here

The above RAM suggested is a 2x8 GB 3200MHz CL16 RAM.

Your Board can go upto 3400 MHz.

Now here are some rookie RAM tips.

1.Never buy Higher Latency RAM (ie dont go above CL17), its not a good investment and you'll probably find yourself replacing it soon enough as it will bring down the rest of your performance by a small...

1x16gb means you are loosing performance compared to 2x8gb but if both are 1x16gb then it’s not that, you are both loosing performance. I can’t imagine it making this amount of difference but what are the RAM timings or do you have the exact model numbers for each set.
For.him i.didnt see the.timing and stuff but i.will put my ram stick.number if.u.could.help me

Hmm mediocre speed (MHz) and high latency CL, this is slow RAM. Would be interesting to know what RAM your friend had.
The real.question.is.what.ram.should i.buy? Im.scar
He must mean 2666mhz or 3466mhz. I don’t think I have ever seen 2444mhz. If you can get the model number we can check.
If i can get the.number, can it be.fixed?or i should buy.a new ram , i.will try to.contact.him as soon as possible

Let’s try and compare the RAM first. If his has a much better specification then it would make sense RAM is the problem.
Ok well im.not sure exactly but i.will.put the.full numbers writen.on his.hyperx , sorry.im noob with pc components

It’s 2400mhz but CL15 so slow speed but better latency. I struggle to believe there would be much difference.

If I was buying RAM for that system I would look at 3000-3200mhz CL16 of 2x8gb.
Well than.there is.not difference? Thats weird, i mean should i buy.a.new.ram?or i could fix it buy clocking or something?
Well i will get 8.gb ram which is this one , RAM TEAMGROUP T-Force Delta RGB DDR4 8GB 3000MHz, 3200Mhz
If.its.not.gonna work.with.my current ram

You are currently using a 1x16 2666 MHz CL19 RAM.

Since you mentioned T-Force RAM's, I guess this is as good : here

The above RAM suggested is a 2x8 GB 3200MHz CL16 RAM.

Your Board can go upto 3400 MHz.

Now here are some rookie RAM tips.

1.Never buy Higher Latency RAM (ie dont go above CL17), its not a good investment and you'll probably find yourself replacing it soon enough as it will bring down the rest of your performance by a small margin.
2.When you buy RAM kits, make sure its always Dual Channel (ie) 2x8 instead of 1x16, Dual Channel will net you more performance than a single channel will do. Single Channel is generally okay if you keeping future expansion in minds or in a budget fit.
3.When you buy RAM kits, Keep your board in mind, if it has support for 3400 MHz, then you should always go for a RAM kit that can perform at 3000/3200/3400 speeds. Buying lower speed RAMs aren't bad, but if your motherboard allows it and the speed factor is only just a few more bucks, then why not grab that extra performance.

  1. You can't use RAM kits of Different Latencies, so if you were planning to put your 1x16 CL19 in one slot and buy a 1x8 CL16 in another, then its not going to work.
  2. You can't use RAM kits of different speeds as well, if you are getting a 2x8/1x16 3200 MHz RAM Kit and try to use your 1x16 2666 MHz RAM Kit, then the XMP profile will most probably underclock your RAM so it runs on the same speed as your other RAM. In this case, if you are getting a 3200 MHz RAM and use it with your 2666 MHz RAM, then the speed will be automatically set to 2666 MHz.

So if you are going to buy a 1x8 GB 3200MHz CL16 and think about using your 1x16 GB 2666 MHz CL19, then its a bad idea. If you desperately need a proper upgrade, look for a RAM whose latency is not above CL17, has clockspeeds that can reach upto 3000MHz/3200MHz and probably a 2x8 instead of a 1x16.

Ok.i.got.your.answer thank.you for you reply., i.will.get.only.1.stick.of 8gb teamgroup, its worth.it.right? And it.can.work.with.my.motherboard , but.i.dont know.if.this.one teamgroup 8 gb ram is c16 or c17 18

Unfortunately, that site doesn't provide much information on the basis of Latency, at least on that link you attached, So I can't help you with that since they don't even mention the specific model number, might want to find a better site in your locality.
