Hello people, I have what I think its a gaming PC, I built it myself, so I'm having problems with bf1,I'm getting low fps when playing multiplayer teamdeathmatch and conquest, I'm getting 20-30fps on ultra settings 1080p... but the funny thing is that whenever I run the rise of the tomb raider bench test I get over 70fps on bf1.. so in other words.. If I just boot my PC and start playing bf1 I get 20fps, but if I run the rise of the tomb raider benchtest BEFORE I play bf1 I get over 70fps in bf1.. can someone explain to me this weird PC behavior please?? thanks!

Thanks for the reply! yes I have checked them CPU is at 100% at 67C and GPU at 90-100% at 70C..

Sounds like your CPU can't handle BF1 then. You could try re-installing the game but the fact that your CPU is pinned at 100% means that you're being limited by it. Not much you can really do aside from turning a few settings down.

I mean for some reason the game runs smoothly over 60fps with no problem at all but it has to be after I run rise of the tomb raider don't know why?.. yesterday I was playing bf1 for like 2 hours straight at high framerates, but only after I run rise of the tomb raider

Hmm, might want to check all usages after closing Tomb Raider then, CPU/GPU/RAM. It's possible that RAM could be a potential issue since 8Gb is basically the bare minimum for modern gaming.

Oh yeah I've forgotten about the ram, I'll borrow my friends ram to see if that fixes the problem hopefully it does, I'll post if there are any changes thanks a lot!!
