Specs:
CPU: AMD FX 6300
GPU: Nvidia GTX 770
Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-990FXA-UD3
HDD: Htachi HDT21016SLA380 and Seagate ST31000524AS
Memory: Hyperx Fury 16 GB RAM
When I installed my motherboard and CPU a few months ago everything played fine for about a half hour, then I started getting massive frame drops. Since then my overall fps has lowered dramatically.(for example I get between 100-150 fps in CS:GO) with drops down to 30 fps in intervals of 5 seconds)). I first noticed it on CS: GO, but it happens on pretty much every game. Also my computer runs rather slow and has slow load times for maps, and opening games/ programs. It even struggles to load web pages sometimes. Also I have tried using a GTX 970 to see if the GPU was the issue, and the from drops were also consistent on that.
I am running a non genuine version of windows 7 but from what I've read this shouldn't have anything to do with the issue. My Nvidia drivers are up to date. My CPU and GPU temperatures seem normal(between 20-50). My CPU Usage never really go's about 75%, and only reaches those numbers when I'm gaming. And my RAM stays around 5 GB when gaming.
If there is any other information you need to help me, please let me know. Thanks in advance for any advice.
