low GPU Activity

Hi guys just faund this forum and want to ask you obauth GPU low activity on bf3 when play my gpu is on 35% only :O game just lag holy lags any spec even on ultra game lag same as on low
any one can help fix it ?

dual core .26ghz 2.mb chase <- bad CPU I know
GPU -> Radeon HD4850 512mb 256bit
RAm-> 4GB
OC-> WIn7 Ultima 64bit

for cpu its on max load 100% cpu is bad I know buth gpu is 30%->35% max

If the cpu is at 100% then the GPU can only run as fast as the CPU will allow and that is why the GPU is only at 35%. What resolution are you playing at and what is the exact model of your cpu?

Overclock your GPU in CCC.

I recommend GPU clock setting to be around 800 and your memory clock setting to be around 900+

I may be slightly wrong here but at a resolution such as 1024 x 768 games are much more cpu intensive but as the resolution increases then the load is shifted more onto the GFX card. Games like BF3 are known to run better on quad core and this issue on that processor has come up before. It is more of a case of your cpu is struggling to play the game regardless of what resolution. Battlefield is quite an intensive game, especially multiplayer and at the lower resolution the cpu just cant cope very well which is why you are getting the lag. Did you read the link I posted?

If you overclock the CPU you should notice some improvement but how much I wouldn't like to say. Overclocking CPU's is quite easy but take the time to know what you are doing before hand if you don't already. Also the CPU cooler has to be considered as the stock ones that come with the chips are not great especially when asked to work harder on an overclocked cpu. so you guys saing the my cpu conflict with my GPU ? if yes if I overclock my cpu from 2.6 to 3.0 will it make bether performance? is so can any one give any guide with nice explayn what shal I overclock,I faund 1 guide in google buth I dont know its right fsb increat from 200->230 and multiplies to 13!
