Question Low GPU and CPU usage on ROBLOX

When i play ROBLOX, i have 150-170 fps on low settings, but i get the same framerate on max, i went to check task manager and the CPU and the GPU were under 20%, when i put the game on max settings, GPU usage went to 60%+ but CPU usage was low, I am on a laptop and here is my specs

CPU: Intel Core i5-11400H 6 Core
GPU: GeForce RTX 3050 Ti Laptop GPU
Memory: 16gb DDR4 3200mhz (2x8gb)
Laptop display: 1920x1080 144hz

All other games have high usage up to 95+% and higher

That's normal for roblox. It's just a super easy game to run. You would have to play at a higher resolution to get more gpu usage.....

I had seen people on YouTube get like 300-400 fps with the same laptop at low settings but i cannot get that because of the usage

Your display caps at 144. The extra frames wouldnt matter......

You assume that those ppl are using the same mods and same power limits and haven't overclocked both cpu and igpu etc. It's also possible to get your exact laptop model with different cpus and gpus etc so may not be an entirely fair comparison.

If your laptop model has a gpu additionally, it may not be active, you may be using the igpu, depending on the power and/or app settings. Most gpus are preset only to use the gpu during 3D, resorting to energy saving igpu for 2D apps.

Online videos only show what is Possible, not what is Probable, and the Possibilities are generally tweaked for maximum performance, whereas your Probability isn't.
