[SOLVED] Low gpu usage and fps rtx 3060ti

Hi. I recently rebuilt my pc. I am getting pretty low framerates in games where i would think i should be getting more. I am getting 30 to 50 percent gpu usage and I am getting 70fps in ac odyssey and around 60-90 in jedi fallen order. Both at highest settings. Will upgrading to dual channel ram increase my fps. Any other fixes for low gpj usage. I dont think it is that much of a bottleneck right?
i7 8700 (non k)
RTX 3060 ti
Z390 auros pro wifi
1x16 gb hyper x fury 2666

You need to fix the RAM issue before we can troubleshoot anymore. Single channel RAM has a significant impact on gaming performance. It may or may not be the whole problem. A 2x8gb 3200mhz to 3600mhz would be a good upgrade.

Just checked videos of assassin creed odyssey with a 3060ti and a 8700 at 1080p max settings and it's around 70 to 96 fps. So I'd say that you're in that area minus the fps you're losing because of Single Channel.

There is a good difference between single single and dual channel. Need 2x8GB.
