Hello guys,I have one,for me,weird problem:
My pc specs:
GTX 1660
I5 7500
16Gb @2400
strix b250g

I know my cpu doesnt meet minimum req for bf2042,but its just for the slightest,i5 6600k also have 4c/4t and even lower clock than 7500.Problem is that game is in all possible situations running at around 30fps no matter what resolution or or quality preset. My cpu usage is always 100% while gpu is around 50%. Looks like cpu is doing all the work while gpu is just here and there to support it.

I made sure that everything is running strictly on gpu and checked everything in nvidia control panel. Now If you want to say that this is normal performance and my cpu is bottleneck, fine, but how do you explain all this with same fps across different resolutions and settings.
And I know battlefield isnt optimised but still... ;)

Solution
Vsync is off....
But does it sound strange to you that I am hitting 30fps both on 1920x1080 and 13xx x 9xx?
Not much. First Battlefield 2042 is a CPU dependent game, high player count makes it a lot more vulnerable. I have 9700K and GTX 1070, I play in QHD resolution and it is the first time I felt that my computer is outdated. I saw lowest fps values ever I saw in my computer, less than 60 actually.

30FPS? Vsync. You lack a system that can hit 60FPS, so 30FPS is the next step. Turn off Vsync and you should see it change.

If your CPU is pegged at 100% load that is indeed your problem. The only way to fix that is to change your CPU.
