I am making this post just to see if there is anything that can be done for an issue I am having. In many games or even in heaven benchmark that I was just testing I have many moments where my GPU utilization goes quite low and causes frame drops. Now I thought this could be a CPU bottleneck issue but I was hoping not since I have a pretty decent CPU. Rarely in any game I play does my GPU utilization sit at 99% like my old 1070 used to.
My temperatures are pretty okay I think so I don't think its a thermal issue. My CPU hits between 60-70c depending on load. My GPU hits 69 to 78c is the highest I see usually closer to 73c.
I also play at 2560x1440p resolution on most games with all max settings for tests since lowering graphics settings seems to lower my GPU usage no matter what. I have assumed it is a CPU issue for a bit though as in many games when I lower my graphic settings I see no improvement in fps. But these are only certain games like assassin's creed type games.
I'm not sure if this line of thinking is correct but I have always thought that ideally you want to be at 99% usage on your GPU in every game if possible but obviously that becomes less possible the more powerful the GPU if your CPU can't output that many frames.
So when I see games I'm playing hovering at 70% usage or less It bother's me I'm just not sure if this is normal for my setup or if there is something that can be done.

MSI Ventus RTX 3080 no overclock
16gb of ddr4 2400mhz ram
Corsair RM 750X PSU
