[SOLVED] Low GPU usage RTX 3060 TI with i7-9700 no k

Hello everyone hope you are doing well

I have these specs on my pc:
MOB Asus rog z-390H
Cpu: i7-9700 no k
PSU 650W nox bronze
GPU Rtx 3060 Ti 3fans gigabyte oc
Ram 32GB 2666mhz
I am facing a problem of low GPU usage during gaming and some stuttering

I said 11400, as in 11th generation Intel i5 CPU, not the 10th generation Intel i5-10400.

As well as the same problem it only gonna fit for 1440p. They are out of stock all the 1200lga cpu i found em out of stock r8 now except for the i11700k and i9 11gen

I don't know where you are getting your information that the i5-11400 is only good for 1440p; this is untrue. Take a look at The Tom's Hardware CPU Hierarchy:

In the average fps at 1080p you can see halfway down the chart the i7-9700k in 28th place on the list. The i5-11400 occupies 22nd place on the list. By the logic of whoever is saying that the i5-11400 is only good for 1440p and is no good at 1080p, the 9700k would also only be good for 1440p and no good for 1080p.

1. If you want a convenient upgrade (keep your old motherboard) with an increase in performance, upgrade to an i7-9700k or i9-9900k.

2. If you want an even bigger performance boost, buy an i5-11400 and pair it with a B560 motherboard.

3. If you want an even bigger performance boost, buy a Ryzen 5600x or 5800x and pair it with a X570 motherboard.

These are your best options, going from cheapest and most convenient (#1), to biggest performance boost and most expensive (#3).

I don't know how to help you understand this any more clearly than that.

A budget/midrange B550 board will also be perfectly fine, if you decide to go that route

Your RAM running at stock speed can be an issue. 2666 is low. Enable XMP in the MOBOs BIOS and it should boost you to 3200 or higher depends on the RAM kit.

Oh yeah didn't even notice that one. Looking back I saw his CPU was pegged at like 90% in RDR2.

Seriously :0 Looking at that last SS his usage dropped down to 70 something % and more than doubled his frames. I wonder the the 1% and .1% lows were.. Still crazy gains though.

I've used the RDR2 benchmark myself. Admittedly, there are (I think five) different sequences, each which push a PC in different ways, and those screenshots are not of the same sequence, so its not a true apple to apples comparison. Still, it does appear to be a pretty big overall improvment.

They were nothing wrong with the PC to begin with you were just expecting to much. You should of caped your FPS and everything would of been fine.

The memory probably did hurt your 1% lows a bit.

His frame rate was below 60 fps in RDR2; where do you suggest he should have set his frame rate cap?

He was more than happy to spend some money to fix his problem properly rather than limiting his frame rate to compensate for an inadequate CPU/RAM combination.

Ram is REAL slow for High frequency FPS values to be maintained.
I lost 40fps AVG in WZ reducing 4266 to 3200 ram speeds as a curiosity test, both tests on stock 2080ti but the losses were huge still.

Ask yourself, are you running any background services or programs? Have you made sure only the services you NEED are enabled or set to manual if possible?

Also since you are running over your monitors native refresh rate that tells me you haven't set the global settings in the Nvidia control panel.
