low gpu usage

I wan't to ask if anyone know's why my gpu (gigabyte gtx 1060 windforce OC) is getting low fps on most games i get on most of the games between 30% and 50% gpu usage only in a few games i get 60% to 80% and sometimes 100% usage i have a fx 8350 black series would it help to OC my CPU?

What games? And what are your temps on cpu and gpu. And what is your motherboard? (Asking just incase you are willing to oc)

in games that are more single and dual core dependent your processor is doing all it can so the video card don't have anything to do.
in games the are optimized/low CPU demands your card can run at a higher usage.

i have it on most games like csgo call of duty bo3 bf4 and more but i only have on mirrors edge catalyst around 80% to 100% gpu usage my temps on gpu is around 55% when fans are almost off or are off and im going to buy a new cooler for my cpu because it has around 60 to 70 C i have a Gigabyte GA-78LMT.

on amd that's pretty high... That is probably your issue, I recommend a hyper 212 evo, and then you could potentially overclock later as well =)

but seriously though, you should be showing around 50 or so under load.
