[SOLVED] Low Gpu Usage

Hello guys i know there are maybe tons of threads like this but i have to ask since i don't really know for the bottleneck part but i will start with my specs :

Motherboard : MSI Z87-G43
Cpu : Intel i3-4170 3.7Ghz
Gpu : Sapphire rx550 oc 4GB
Ram 2 sticks : (1) Kingston PC3-12800 1600MHz 4GB, (2) RCM 1333Mhz 4GB.
HDD mechanical : 500 GB Toshiba
CPU usage via msi afterburner on fortnite goes as high as 95% and almost never down to 70 or 60% , while the GPU rarely stays on one place it always moves but never used on 90% ? do you guys think its the memory which is making it bottleneck ?

My guess is your RAM is fine. 8gb is not bad for that rig. But your CPU may be holding you back. It is a dual core chip that is a few years old and it may be showing its age.

Do you think that an i5 - 4570 would have any problem with the graphic that i have

You will see a bump in performance with the 4570, but if the game is CPU heavy, such as BFV, then there will still be a bottleneck.

Considering you have a rx550, I would not spend too much on a CPU because your money would be better spent on a better GPU. So look for a good deal on a used 4570.

Here is a used 4570 for $80. I dont think I would spend much more than that though.

i actually changed the cpu right know with a i5 4570 i'm impressed i mean i get that 100% gpu usage now and cpu at 75 most of the time sometimes 90 , that looks like i3 4170 bottleneck ?
