So, the time has come for me to upgrade, and I am looking at cases as well.
I am very touchy about my HDDs (after losing a couple), and would like a case that has sturdy HDDs mounts, preferably with anti-vibration dampers or a mount that allows the drive vibrations to escape, but dampen vibrations from the chassis to the drive.
My search is made more difficult by some producers saying their HDD cages are "vibration-dampening", while in reality not so much (Fractal Design is one example)
Would also need rubber on the feet and dust filters.
MB format: ATX, max width 21cm, no fancy cooling planned.
Budget: up to $90.
Thanks

don't have a defined answer for you as I don't have vibration issues with my case.
but looked at different articles and found this one: http://www.custompcguide.net/top-6-most-silent-computer-cases-for-quiet-computing/

Thanks, some nice cases, but unfortunately out of my budget.
I almost went with a Corsair 200R, only to discover Corsairs have that shoddy HDD cage.
Sometimes I think it would be easier and cheaper to buy a used rack

Decided to go with either Nanoxia or Lian Li, as their chassis have rigid HDD mounts and cages
