Low-midrange cards with freesync monitor

Hi! My question is that if i have a low-mid card like rx 560 4gb or something like that, and in the stronger games (like PUBG on 1080p high settings) the fps is below than the monitors maximum refresh rate (60 or 75hz) does the freesync matters or do something significant, or just go for a standard monitor?

One more information: the monitors freesync range is ~40-75hz http://www.lg.com/us/monitors/lg-24MP59G-P-gaming-monitor

With freesync on, the game will look a lot smoother in the 30-60fps range, since the monitor will update everytime the gpu renders each frame.
