Hi,

You fail to put what SSD it is.
How old is your computer? It may be because it is running off a slower SATA 2 or SATA 1 port, rather than the fastest and latest SATA 3 port; this makes a significance difference in performance.

hi,sorry, the SSD is Galax L gamer series 120gb (i got it on a sale) the web says that it can write up to 447 mbps ,i actually used the SATA III cable for this SSD,my CPU is phenom II X4 955 but i dont think CPU have too much effect on SSD speed? or does it?

Never heard of that SSD. Sounds like a piece of junk to me (no offense).
What motherboard do you have? CPU is old, may not have a SATA 3 motherboard.

EDIT: Seen your SSD website, seems okay actually. I would get a Samsung one though,

yeah its a realatively new SSD and they(galax) mostly market on asia and europe, and + i got it on a promo price, anyways the web still says it can write up to 448 mb/s at least,my mobo is MSI 970A-G43 and im pretty sure it supports SATA 3.0(6GB/s) maybe..,i dunno.. haha

Edit:samsung is way out of my budget lol,i got this ssd for like 50$ while the 850 pro is like 100$ haha

yeah haha,i think i got ripped off,oh well i'll buy a better ssd next time haha
yeah,im planning to buy a new cpu but im waiting to see if zen is worth the hype or not haha
thx for answering dude!

Your welcome. Just some advice for next time. Always check out what you want to buy with people on this site. Many people reviewing things are paid to write good reviews of the product, when it's actually junk (pretty much your case lol). Ask someone on here who has lots of experience with tech, and knows what they're talking about. No problem helping you, glad I helped.

that doesnt seem quite to hold up, according to some trusted reviews your writes should be decent amount higher unless something is wrong on your end
any drivers/firmware for teh drive or optimization sort of ala Samsung Magician?
how full is your ssd?
is BIOS proper set up ? ACHI enabled and such?
anything holding it back multiple partitions, poor alignment? Run AS SSD (no need to run the benchmarks), and see if it says "OK" for alignment.
with such low write speeds there is something wrong and not just "manufacturer bluffing"
also note:
"Maximum sequential speeds measured with ATTO"
retest using ATTO
