So I just installed a brand new Samsung 850 Evo SSD and from what I've heard you need to set virtual memory to ''No paging file'' from the Performance tab to save some of the SSD's GB,well after I set it to not to use any storage from the SSD as virtual memory,my League of Legends's loading screen crashed and a bug report appeared saying that my memory is too low, then I went back to the virtual memory tab and set a number, then it worked fine.I just want to understand why people disable virtual memory on SSDs and don't expect having problems. Also,do you need to have more than 4GB of RAM installed in order to set ''No paging file''?

PS: I only have 4GB of RAM installed 😀
and I didn't have any other programs running when my LoL's loading screen crashed.

Thanks mates :)

Solution

we disable the paging file on the ssd

and enable it on the fastest of our secondary hard drives
