during csgo i usually stay under 40 ping and my fps is always 150+ and i dont even know what to call it because i dont think its lag but somethings not right and i have no idea what the problem is.

doesnt that add input lag? i play competitive i cant have input lag. will my problem be fixed if i get a 120 hz or 144 hz monitor?

It may cause some input lag, but for diagnostic purposes, try it anyway.

What are you computer's specifications?

amd ryzen 5 1400 cpu
geforce gtx 1060
windows 10 64 bit
8 gb of ram

You have a good CPU, GPU, and enough RAM. What about your monitor? What resolution and refresh rate?

Can you try to describe a little more what you're experiencing that you think is not right?

Has enabling vertical sync made any improvement?

ive tried many different resolutions. same problem everytime. its a 60 hz monitor but lowering the resolution i got it to 75 hz. and i wouldnt say its lag because the ping is low but its small skips nad bugs like when i switch weapons the animation doesnt start right away and sometimes when i shoot the sound messes up but that doesnt happen as much.

It sounds like the same problem im having with pubg. Ill get into this stutter and my audio goes werid too, i see my fps drops from 90 or w.e to 20 and when it finally goes back to normal Im in a different area
