Low profile cpu cooler for i5 4690K 1150

Hello,
Im looking for a decent smallish cpu cooler for my HTPC that is better than the intel stock cpu fan. Looks like I have about 75mm clearance height. Socket 1150.

I have the cooler master 212 EVO on my main computer and love it so I looked at theirs first.
Cooler Master H115, or shark v200 . Anyone have either?

Any suggestions would be great. Thanks in advance.

The intel stock fan is pretty good.
Low profile is usually not very good for improvement of temps.
You'd probably be better off with an AIO watercooler, like a CM seidon 120m or a corsair h50 (or whatever fits your case)

I agree. I have the cooler master seidon 120v, and it works very well considering how much heat my CPU puts out (4790k). However, since you are only using the pc as a HTPC, the temps shouldn't be too high. What temps is your PC getting up to? If the temps are fine and you don't want to waste extra money, stick with stock.

However, since you are only using the pc as a HTPC, the temps shouldn't be too high. What temps is your PC getting up to? If the temps are fine and you don't want to waste extra money, stick with stock.

I think the cabinet I have it in struggles with air flow. I get 28-29 idle temps outside the cabinet in open air. In the cabinet it gets 37-38 at idle. I know they are not really bad...but Id be more comfortable if they were lower. Just looking for options.

That sounds more like it's a problem with your case than with the coolers, and besides a watercooler I doubt you'll see much benefit from a different air cooler. Because any other aircooler is still good have a problem getting cool air to it.
