Low Profile CPU Coolers

Is the Noctua NH-L9i sufficient for cooling for my i5 4690?

currently im using my stock cooler and Im playing watch dogs on medium settings and getting 65-70 degree readings

will it be able to cool it down to about maybe 50-55 degrees while im playing?

The cooler will fit fine and you will notice some improvements but you need also to consider the airflow inside the case and the room temperature as well, the graphic card can also generate a lot of heat while playing. Its hard to say what your CPU temp will be like.

There was recently a review about that cooler, i was shocked to see that it performs similarly to the the intel stock cooler:

You can start with that, replace it with something like this:

You should see some improvement with that.
