Question Lower fps after more than 16gb of ram is used.

32gb 3600mhz cl 16 ram

When less than 16gb of ram is used, I get 80-90 fps in GTA V. While when more than 16 gb of ram is used, I get 60-70 fps.

Is the RAM 4x8gb?

When running 32gb have you confirmed it is running at 3200mhz?

The ram is on 2x16 and I have confirmed it is running at 3600 mhz.

Probably the chip configuration on the actual ram sticks...dual sided vs single sided. Have you verified t1 vs t2 timings ?

If your using 16gb for that game then you have other stuff running also using your CPU.

MSI x570 gaming plus. And what is t1 vs t2 timing. I’m not so good with computers. Thanks.

If you download and run CPU-Z you can see the memory timings. T1/T2 indicate the command rate of the memory which is one of the timings with T1 being faster than T2. If you're running MSI Dragon Center I'd recommend you uninstall it as Dragon Center has a memory leak that sucks up a lot of ram.

The command rate is at 1T and I have uninstalled dragon center but it didn't solve the problem. Do you have any more solutions?

I just updated to the latest motherboard BIOS and chipset driver and it still didn't solve the problem.

Have you made any changes to the Windows page file ? If you've set a manual page file size set it back to Windows managed.
