Lubuntu vs Xubuntu vs Puppy Linux for battery life?

I was wondering which Linux distro has the best battery life. Also is there any other desktop Linux distros that save more electricity than the ones listed above? Thank you for any inputs!

There is a non famous Ubuntu derived distro called WattOS that is aimed especially at low power consumption. If you don't like that then all the Lubuntu, Xubuntu or puppy linux will save battery because they are lightweight.

Does not matter. Just make sure to install TLP for better battery life.

I use TLP on my IBM t500 and it gives me about a hour and a half more out of the battery. Note TLP is command line based tool.

Since they are all literally free, you could just test them and see what works best with your hardware and workflow.
