Luggage for desktop computer as checked baggage

Hello,

I have been looking around the internet in order to see how I could travel by plane and take my desktop computer with me. I'll only take the case with components, no screen, keyboard or mouse.

So for now, the best option I've seen is to package each components separately and take the most as cabin baggage (CPU + GPU + HDD at least) then check-in the rest.
Then, I'm stuck with the case, it is a Cooler Master HAF X.
I have not been able to find a bag or luggage large enough that fit 🙁.
Only one I've seen is the Thermaltake bag (http://www.thermaltake.com/products-model.aspx?id=C_00001821) but couldn't find it on sale anywhere.

I'd like to take the case as check-in as it would avoid to buy a new case in the arrival country.

Would it be possible to have ideas as how to check-in my HAF X?
The restriction I have for the luggage is as follow : 23 kg and 158cm (height + width + depth).

Otherwise, I was thinking of running the PC without a case. So I wouldn't need to spend 100-200 usd on a case again. And also, my luggage would be much lighter and not having to sell the case once I move again.
I thought of putting the motherboard in something like a plastic milk crate (5$).
Maybe I'll add 4 GPUs later, I don't know yet. To cool it, i thought of buying a desk fan and put it in front of the crate.
Then, where should I buy the front panel? It's great to turn on the computer by shorting the power pins but I'd also like to have audio, usb ports and esata.

So, good idea?
Any other suggestions?

A case can be had for $30-40, no need to go $200. How often are you going to be traveling with it? You plan of taking things out and back in doesn't seem like something you'd want to do all the time. Maybe look at a smaller PC in general to travel with. Depends on your plans I guess.
