Lwptop wont recognize the wireless adapter

Hello,
i want to know how to get my hp laptop to turn on and stay on and when it does come on it wont recognize the 802.11g broadcom network adapter. what do i do to fix these problems?

Try visiting the laptop manufacturer's Support website for your model, then download and install the most recent driver for your broadcom network adapter. You should also be able to get all the drivers for your laptop there.
