[SOLVED] M.2 Drive CPU or CHIPSET

doing a build with PRIME X299-DELUXE 2 board ... below i have these option to install my M.2 drive for main C drive - Below are my options - The M.2_2 is a vertical mount and the other two mount under a heat sink ... i am thinking on going with the vertical mount M.2_2 which runs off of the chipset ... just need advise on this one - Just addition info , i will be installing a second solid state or M.2 drive for audio recording storage

M.2_1 socket supports PCIe 3.0 x4 and SATA mode M Key design and type 2242 /
2260 / 2280 / 22110 PCIe and SATA storage devices.
• M.2_2 socket supports PCIe 3.0 x4 M Key design and type 2242 / 2260 / 2280 / 22110
PCIe storage devices from the X299 chipset.
• M.2_3 socket supports PCIe 3.0 x4 M Key design and type 2242 / 2260 / 2280 / 22110
PCIe storage devices from the CPU.

Thanks .. just wanted to make sure ... it has been a while since i did a build
