hello, recently i bought the asus tuf b460m-plus and there’s two m.2 slots on this motherboard. the upper slot don’t have a heatsink and the bottom slot has, my m.2 nvme has a heatsink already so ive installed on the upper slot, but i saw the manual and the upper slot is m.2 dual mode and the bottom slot is m.2 pcie mode, what’s the difference? should i install the m.2 on the bottom slot?

Dual mode would seem to be SATA or PCIe/NVMe.

For your NVMe drive, it does not matter which port.
