Hello, I was looking to buy a Caddy to replace the Blue Ray player in a old laptop, & I came across a M.2 Caddy, Will you actually get those speeds in a Sata Jack?

It will only work with a SATA M.2 drive, and only at SATA performance.
No idea what specific SATA level it would be...I, II, or III.

I would not expect anything magical.
