Question M.2 NVMe compatible? HP Pavilon 15 bc400ns

Hello everybody,
I decided to register in this forum because I could not find solution anywhere else.

I'm trying to update my recetly bought HP Pavilon 15 bc400ns (this one), however I am not sure if it is compatible wuth M.2 NVMe. I can upload photos of the socket in the motherboard.

According to your laptop's manual, it supports M.2 SSD's. You can choose between NVMe and SATA based M.2 SSD's. Which SSD are you looking at? You might also want to make sure you're on the latest BIOS update for your laptop.

The manual also states that it supports NVMe M.2 SSDs on page 8.

I had already read through the manual, however, on page 8 is for another laptop I think. Its kinda confusing because the manual is for various computers as you can see. So I was looking for some motherboard manual, or something apart from that manual.

Multiple models oftentimes use the same SKU/motherboard. It looks like the manual includes your model (the "NS" suffix might just be a specific configuration), so you should be good.

Yeah, thats what I thought, but I was expecting to find some motherboard information, but it seems like hp doesnt want users to know exact laptop information, i dont know. Do you know if Amazon would refund a SSD if for any means it doesnt work? Could I "break" something trying to make it work?

I leave you a photo i took when i took apart the laptop, sorry for the quality, i did it unintentionally.
