M.2 NVME to USB, not worried about speed

Hello all,

I have a laptop that died and before I send it in for repair I would like to backup some things off of the hard drive. I don’t have a desktop computer, only another laptop. I could really use a way to convert the M.2 NVME to USB.

I found an adapter that converts the drive to a 2.5 inch form factor SSD and then an SSD to usb cable but they aren’t compatible because the cable has a gap between the power and data connections but the adapter has a raised section with pins on it instead of a gap.

I would also settle for a USB cable that fits the adapter, but I can’t find that either.
