Hi everyone,
I recently bought a Crucial P2 M.2 NVMe PCIe SSD for use with my Asus Z97-A motherboard, however upon installation, neither Windows nor my Bios detects the drive in any capacity. I attempted to switch to M.2 mode in Bios but this caused more issues (my PC auto shut-down twice before successfully booting) so I reverted back to my previous setting. I also currently have an HDD and a SATA SSD occupying two SATA slots on my mobo, as well as a PCIe wi-fi card socketed into the motherboard.
The Crucial SSD, to my understanding, should be compatible with my mobo and I've already tried creating a new partition in the disk management menu of Windows 10, but alas, it cannot find it. Any help greatly appreciated, thank you.
EDIT: if it helps, my specs are as follows:
ASUS Z97-A Motherboard
Intel i7-4790k @4GHz
GTX 1070 ASUS ROG 8GB OC
Corsair Vengeance Pro 16GB RAM
BIOS VER. 3503
