Question M.2 Screw won’t reach

I have been trying to mount my wd black sn570 m.2 ssd to my MSi gaming pro z270 board with the included mounting screws to no avail.

I think it’s bc the screws are too short

Are you certain it's the correct screws? They are very short from my experience with M.2 formfactor drivers across various systems.
