Question M.2 slots

Hello everyone i have a mobo with 2 m.2 slots. One of the slots is not working which is the bottom one. I switched the m2 with the bottom one, and it works on top so that eliminates the m.2 being bad. i have this mobo https://www.newegg.com/asus-rog-strix-b450-f-gaming/p/N82E16813119140 can anyone help me please?

What specific drive(s) do you have?

Both M.2 ports can take a PCIe drive, only one can take a SATA M.2 drive.
