[SOLVED] M.2 SSD doesn't show up in Bios nor windows installing

Hi everyone,

I just built a PC with gigabyte B365M Aorus Elite and SSD Western Digital Green M.2 2280 Sata III.
The SSD is the only storage of this system sofar. I intend to install windows on this SSD first before installing an HDD.

However. This SSD isn't shown up in my bios nor being listed in device selection when installing windows.

Any idea would be really appreciated.

Pretty sure it's the same slot. But not working so far.

Hey rgd1101. Turned out my pretty sure is not pretty enough. You are right. I inserted my m.2 sata to nvme, that's why it can't be recognized.

I had the exact same problem , however my computer was built by a computer shop and they stuffed up where they installed the HDD.

Once i found this post and swapped the HDD location it worked.
