Question M.2 SSD Not Detected

Just built a new PC, here's relevant hardware:

Mobo: Asus x470 Prime Pro
CPU: Ryzen 5 3600
RAM: Corsair DDR4 3200MHz 2x8GB
M.2: Samsung NVMe 970 EVO Plus 500GB

Here's the issue I'm having. The M.2 SSD is not being detected in BIOS or Windows. I've booted with just the SSD, reset CMOS, disabled CMS and reset Secure Keys, booted in Auto, x2 and x4, also tried both M.2 slots but no change.

If anyone has any idea or had this issue before and found a fix please reply! As I've spent the last 3 hours trying to figure it out!

Perhaps it is not installed correctly. Try removing the SSD and carefully placing it back in the M.2 socket.

Already tried this when trying both M.2 slots. Starting to think it's a faulty SSD.
