M.2 SSD Not Discoverable

Hi guys, I got an Asus x510uf laptop with M.2 sata and installed a WD Green 120 SSD, but the computer doesn't recognise it. It's not visible in the bios nor in windows. There aren't any bios options to turn on or off the M.2. It's installed correctly and that is not a possible reason for the problem. Do you have an idea what the issue could be?

It's fully secured? Does it appear in Disk Management?

There should be an option in the BIOS to enable/disable, but it may be hidden behind another option (ie enabling CSM opens up further options).

It does not show up in disk management and there isn't any buos settingfor it. What happens when I turn csm off is that the normall hdd is also not recognized

I agree, it should show up in Disk Manager. At least your BIOS should reconigze it. If not there drive is bad, not seated properly, the M.2 adapter / slot is bad or the drive itself is bad. Your options are pretty narrow.
