Question m.2 ssd not working.

I have a crucial 2280 1tb p3 m.2 SSD with a b550 gaming gen3 am4 motherboard. My problem is that I cant use the SSD it shows up in bios but when I try to enable it or set it as the boot drive its not possible, I also cant set it up in disk management and it doesn't show up in file explorer but it shows up in device manager under the disk drives. if anyone can help it would be greatly appreciated.

No it doesn't and it doesn't come up with another pop-up to set it up.

under device manager does it show any errors for that device? are the correct drivers installed and working properly?

No errors and it says all the best drivers are installed.
