M.2 SSD Temps?

Do m.2 drives really heat up? My m.2 is right next to the pci slot where my graphics card is and its going to cover the m.2. Should I stick with this or cancel my order and order a m.2 that goes in a pci slot?

What I ordered: Kingston HyperX Predator
Motherboard: Asus Maximus VIII Gene
GPU: Asus GTX 960 Strix

If you have enough cooling in your case you will be ok. Desktops have allot better airflow than laptops. The M.2 should be toward the top of the card, the hot parts of the GPU are in the middle, that should be enough space to prevent overheating.
