Hello so Im using a Z270X Ultra Gaming motherboard and I want a wireless networkcard but I dont really want to see it in my build. So I wonder if M2 network cards work in Custom build PC's or only laptops??? Cause I've seen that they need two wires too work I think??? HELP

Yes you need two wires.

The m2 cards are just like laptops so you have the card in the socket on the motherbaord, then you need 2 ufl to RP-SMA cables. You will need to get or make a PCI bracket for the back of your case to have the 2 RP-SMA connectors on the back, then you need antennas. Ideally you should use RP-SMA cables and a stand to have the antennas above the back of the PC (because the PC tower blocks some of the signal). At the end of the day this is completley the opposite of clean and not "seeing it in your build".

Much better option if you just cant run a hard wired ethernet cable from router ot your PC (which is by far the best option) is to use a powerline networking adapter; i would get at minimum an av500 model.

I can't really run a wire, I already do into my motherboard but it's so annoying cause I live in a apartment so I need to run the wire trough the hall into my room and then I can't close my door and that's really annoying! And I need a special output/ wire to get internet from it. 🙁
