m2n-e pcie detection for 6770

well, i am trying to convert this motherboard for use as a bitcoin miner and i am having some problems. i bought two pci-e x 1 adapter so i can connect two additional video cards, i currently have one 6770 connected and it is working properly. However, when I connect the other video card to the x1 to x16 adapter (and then to the x1 pcie slot on the mobo), it is not detected by windows. It does not show up in the device manager. I have tried swapping out the video cards, no joy. I tried different cables, no joy. I tried using the other x1 pcie slot. No joy. I reinstalled catalyst drivers, no joy. i am stumped. using bfg miner the other video card is just not there.

No joy, it will not work out, if you need CF then buy the new MB that can CF.
