M2N68-LA Motherboard, AMD Athlon II X4 620, 4gb Ram, 400 watt power supply

Okay so Im using my old HP desktop, I haven't used it in forever but I wanted give my little brother something to use but I put in a new CPU and when I start up the PC to install Windows, the system turns on, with no monitor response, but the power supply keeps going but in a few seconds, the system fan as well as the CPU fan stops. How can I get this system back up and working, please help.

I hear a couple buzzes from the 250gb hard drive and then the fans stop but the power supply keeps going

There are several different M2N68-LA motherboards. (Narra2), (Narra6). (Narra5) to name a few. That CPU does not work in all of them, Narra2 for example.

Well I had read the specs for the Narra 6 which is the one I have but originally I have the X2 in that motherboard but just upgraded to the quad core processor.

Although my M2N68-LA is a green motherboard from an HP Pavilion
