Question M5a97 r2.0 compatibility and dual dvi graphics card.

Hi New to the Forum so thank you for letting me in! Far from an expert with up to date computers, maybe I could have tackled this in the 90s or 2000s as it all seemed simpler then. However now I just don't know where to go next. I have a gaming pc (I'm not a gamer) because I wanted something with a little power for a DAW and music production software. So I bought an Acer m5a97 2.0 am3 machine and I had problems with the mobo. Now replaced I still need a compatible twin dvi (my hansG 24"monitors are older and only dvi) but I seriously do not want to spend much more money. Just £30-£40 tops. Why my nvidia gt640 2gb is not compatible I don't know but hey this is why to me it's all becoming too complicated. Please help.
