I disabled USB Initialization for a faster POST time, and now I cannot enter the BIOS at all! I tried ps/2 keyboard as well and still cannot enter the BIOS, this is EXTREMELY frusterating! Can I change the initialization option from the desktop?

Thanks!

@Smorizio

Thank you! I was investigating MSI's liveupdate5 utility, I'll try your link!

Pardon my ignorance, but what would clearing the CMOS do?

Solution
mb guild has one section for usb in 3-21/3-24/ on page 1-24 there a directkey button on the edge of your mb. turn your mb off and press it. you should go into the bios.
So I installed AI Suite, but I've scrutinized every option and don't see anything for USB initialization, could you point me in the right direction?

Thanks again!

I think I saw one somewhere!

But its not really what I'm trying to do, my machine is overclocked and I'd hate to have to re-do all my settings.

I was just trying to achieve the fastest POST time, and reading about USB initialization it seemed as if I would still be able to access the BIOS just fine. Much to my chagrin, it does not work! BIOS access is pretty crucial since i like to overclock and make changes occasionally

You are the SHIT Smorizio! In a great way! Thanks dude, that's so handy to know! Now I can leave my USB uninitialized for faster boot, and access the BIOS through the DirectKey, i feel like a moron for not knowing that.

Thanks again man!
