[SOLVED] Mac os x lion instalation

my mac lion got hit by the flashback worm while i was installing flash player for a game and froze my computer. i had to hard boot to turn it back on finding out i have no os x. can i install mac os over a network? i have no cds at the moment to burn it too. if not please tell me another way to install it besides cd. thank you.

Shhould just be able to hold Cmd-R on reboot to launch the Lion Internet recovery software. Just be wary it is a large download. So i wouldn't recommend doing this via Dialup

is it quicker using wifi or cable?

It shouldn't make any difference as wireless networking is normally faster than an Internet connection. My Mac Mini will only allow you to use the wireless connection for an install.
