I recently followed http://courses.cms.caltech.edu/cs171/materials/pdfs/How_to_Dual-Boot_OSX_and_Ubuntu.pdf to dual boot Ubuntu on my MacBook Pro. However, I must have missed a step or did one step wrong as Ubuntu is the primary OS while Mac's shows up only by pressing the option key on startup.
I did not include "--setboot" on the last instruction as I didn't want that to happen, but it did anyway.
Would anyone know of a fix? Is there a way to check my configurations?
There was a part during the process where I screwed up the transfer of "boot.efi" from Ubuntu to Mac. But now "boot.efi" is in /mnt of the Ubuntu and in /Volumes/Ubuntu\ Boot\ Loader/System/Library/CoreServices on the MacOS. Is that right?
What is the "mach_kernel" folder for?
Perhaps there is a way to unbless the last instruction to redo it again?
