Hi. I am trying to create a USB Macrum reflect (v7.2.5107). I have tried
Other tasks -> Create rescue media ...

I create lots of files on the USB but none of them are runnable / bootable. All the fikles have no extensions and are displayed as EFI File. I would expect an autorun.inf

Any sugestions please. I have images on my HDD.

When windows 7 was released legacy boot was all there was and uefi started to be widely used some time afterwards, your usb has uefi files on it and should be bootable.
You have to go into bios and make sure that safe boot is enabled/legacy mode disabled.
Right now it only starts mbr media so it sees the usb as non bootable, hence the flashing cursor.

But if you want to restore a win7 image that was made in mbr mode it will probably not work or you will have to change it back to mbr/legacy after the recovery to make it boot from the recovered image.
When hit F8 at windows boot and select the USB, all I get is a blank monitor with a flashing cursor top left. There are no bootable files. None of the files have extensions

Folders = Boot, Drivers, EFI and sources

Files = bootmgfw.efi, bootmgr, bootmgr.efi, PEVersion, RMBuilder.xml, Version and x64

No exe, com bat or Autorun. There is nothing on the USB to run.

I need to restore an image so I need to boot of the USB. I used Norton ghost and that did the same.

Yes can boot from USB. I can boot using norton ghost for example. Windows 7 does not know what to do with an efi file.

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\FileExts\.efi\OpensWithList = {Blank}
