Hello All

I currently use gmail for my email by going to gmail.com, however today I decided to try the windows mail app, everything is working with sending and receiving however sometimes it shows that the images are not showing up and says "Cannot be displayed" . However when I go to the gmail.com website and log in and view the same email everything is showing perfectly fine. I also verified that in "Settings-Manage Account-Gmail Sync Settings- it is checked for "Always download full message and Internet Images" I have closed out and reopened and still shows the same information as below. I also verified that under "Settings - Reading Pane"

External Content
Select An Account - Gmail
Checked for apply for all accounts is checked

Automatically download external images and style formats except S/MIME Mail - is on
Automatically download external images and style formats for S/MIME mail - is on

I am at a loss on what the next step should be?

Might be worth doing a full reset on the mail app if you haven't already. You can do that by going to Apps & Features in the Windows 10 settings, searching for Mail and Calendar, clicking Advanced Options, and clicking the Reset button. This will clear out any accounts you have in the app so you will have to sign back in after.
