Hello

I am deciding between i7 4770K and the 4930K for a later build.

What is the main difference between LGA 1150 and the LGA 2011?

Solution
There is a huge difference between the firstly socket and secondly the CPU's.

-LGA 2011 Has 40 CPU lanes of bandwidth, LGA 1150 hes far less

-LGA 2011 has support for 6 Core i7 CPU's

-LGA 2011 has support for double LGA 1150 max memory at a total of 64GB.

-LGA 2011 Runs at Quad channel memory compared to dual channel LGA 1150

-LGA 2011 runs better with 3 or more video cards

-LGA 1150 has more SATA III 6GB/s ports, compared to LGA 2011, but that didn't affect me.

+ I have a 4930k and running an LGA 2011 system, I had a similar choice but the LGA 2011 system came out way on top for me.
